Just under three years ago London new wave duo Peter & Kerry debuted with their idiosyncratic La Trimouille, but since their hiatus, Peter Lyons (one-half of duo), has been working on his own music projects as a singer, songwriter and producer; movie soundtrack scores, remixes, and his latest to-be-released EP topping his music CV, whilst also spending time working as an Adidas model.
For those familiar with the Peter & Kerry style - listeners of Lyons’ new single, Leave Me, will be warmly surprised in the departure of styles from what was normally associated with the singer as he embraces more of a gentle electronic sound. The combination of Leave Me’s seductive production and Lyons’ wounded lyrics make for a forlorn love tale.
