One Soundcloud demo was the only first impression required for North London singer-songwriter Lyves to be invited to play at BBC’s Introducing stage at both Reading and Leeds Festivals last year.
Building on her initial debut success on the horizon of her debut 2015 EP release, the ambient alt-soul producer has collaborated with Manchester electronic artist/bass producer, Synkro, to release Body Close; an ode to the intimacy of two lovers. Taken as the second track from Lyves’ debut EP, the heady collaboration features wistful vocals and synths that swirl back and forth like warm breathe exchanged between bodies in the night. The track is also set to appear on Synkro’s debut album, also to be released in the second half of 2015 (Apollo).
