“An eclectic mix of sonorous guitar hooks complemented by synth leads eerily narrating times past, all the while remaining boldly in the present.”
After two landmark album releases, two EPs and a host of remixes, LA’s The New Division returns in 2015 with new single, Senseless, as premiered on Flaunt Magazine.
The refreshing new instalment from the alias of songwriter and producer, John Kunkel, sees the return of The New Division's signature new wave sound, but carries with it the progressive house and trance flavours that we enjoyed from their 2014 LP, Together We Shine. The single is a prelude to the band’s third album release, Gemini, and enjoys collaborative producer credits with one-half of Brooklyn electro-rock outfit, Hypefactor (F.J. DeSanto). Senseless will also be released in conjunction with a series of remixes on March 17, including Future Unlimited, André Obin and Outernationale.
Senseless is currently released on Kunkel's independent label, Division 87 Records.
